Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Housing Refurbishment



We are working with a leading Regeneration Contractor to find a successful and proactive Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Oldham.

This is a permanent position, where you will be responsible for assisting the Senior QS and commercial team, delivering a social housing refurbishment project for regeneration works across the Manchester area.

The responsibilities of this role include:

* Measuring works
* Submitting monthly applications to Client
* Overseeing and managing the submission of V. O's, quotations or estimates to Client, ensuring that contract SOR rates are utilised wherever possible.
* Raising PO's where required.
* Reconciling / validating internal material cost reports.
* Processing subcontract applications and payment recommendations.

Ideal Candidate:

* 1 - 2 years' experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (desirable)
* Must have confident communications skills.
* Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office
