Are you currently working for a PLC National or a large regional who talk about quality but are really only interested in the number of units they deliver to the open market, per year? Reporting to a Build Manager or Construction Director who's asking you to cover more sites than there are days in the week? This one could be for you...

My client are an up & coming House builder making ripples in the North West after flying a bit under the radar in recent years. They partner with Housing Associations and local authorities to deliver some really interesting residential schemes, often in areas which could really do with a lift. They deliver schemes which make a difference.

Most of their work is within 20 miles of Manchester but they stretch out to Lancashire and into Cheshire, currently.
Sites typically consist of a mixture of housing & small collections of apartments; timber frame or traditional build. Their sweet spot would probably be 60-90 units per site but do - and are currently delivering - go into 3 figures.

They're now looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to support their site teams. As 1 of 2 Contracts Managers you'll typically oversee & support 3 to 4 projects at a time, workload depending.

You'll get the trust & autonomy to manager your sites with the experience & knowledge you've been brought in to utilise.
This company aren't wanting to micro-manage. You wont be expected to sit in HQ 2 or 3 days a week in endless meetings. You're there to make a difference to & support your site teams & the clients. You're tasked with ensuring successful completion of projects, to budget & programme so you'll be left to ensure your teams have the best possible chance of achieving.
