Job Description

My client is a leading Regional Contractor based in the North West. Due to a strong pipeline of newly awarded projects, they are currently looking to strengthen their Operational team with the addition of a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager looking for that next career step.

The company has an excellent reputation in the industry through successfully delivering quality schemes across various sectors. They are looking for a Project Manager with a broad range of experience working as a No1 on projects up to £10m. Previous experience of successfully delivering Health and Education projects would be an advantage.

The Project Manager will be site based and will hold full responsibility for the management and delivery of schemes from the pre -construction phase through to on site delivery of an individual project.



The role of the Project Manager will include:

* Responsibility for the management, planning, programming & phasing of the project.
* Managing your team; setting objectives and developing people within it
* Acting as the Client point of contact on site
* Ensure best practices and quality are being maintained
* Monitoring and co-ordination of subcontractor activity
* To be the first point of contact for the client, members of the public and subcontractors
* Work closely and liaise as required with the design team
* Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the client and designers
* To monitor the progress of the project and manage issues as they arise
* Responsible for all health and safety on site and liaison with the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager
* Ensure all documentation is correctly administered and Site Management Company Procedures are followed

The role attracts a basic salary up to £55,000 plus overtime, company car or car allowance pension, healthcare and life assurance
