Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

You will be required to work on site with a Senior QS on a £30 million concrete frame student accommodation in Manchester. This role also involved helping out with the procurement and valuations on site.

My duties included:

* Performing sub-contractor / project valuations and payment assessments on a monthly basis.
* Monitoring and cost reporting on site materials and plant on an ongoing basis
* Preparation and procurement of sub-contractor packages.
* Liaising with the operational team to review and monitor project costs
* Assisting the senior QS in the taking off and re-measurement of all quantities on project packages
* Taking pre-commencement meetings for sub-contract packages.
* Liaising and agreeing with the client QS on project valuations.
