Job Description

We are looking for Project Managers with Fit-out interiors and/or construction experience. Candidates will ideally be experienced across all fit-out sectors, capable of delivering projects ranging in value from £500k to £8m

We are looking for individuals who will truly embed the Client's requirements in every aspect of the project, and offer our Clients added value to give them the assurance that they can trust us in providing quality, start-to-finish delivery.

Key skills:

* Understanding of technical and design information
* Understanding of programming
* Coordinate resources in line with team members
* Hold strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management skills and working to tight deadlines
* Provide excellent customer service to Clients at all levels, acting as an ambassador throughout liaisons.

The Role

* The role will assume responsible for the day to day running of the project; including the management of all on site activities and labour. The successful candidates will hold a thorough working knowledge of site set up and delivery to enable the safe, timely delivery of a quality product. The ability to programme works, either using Asta Power Project or MS Project is essential.
* A critical area of skill is the promotion of a safe working environment to maximise safety with direct employees, agency staff and sub contractors and to take necessary action where serious or repeated disregard for safety is shown. The successful individual will be someone who sets a personal example at all times, particularly in the compliance of Company health and safety processes and procedures.
* Acting as a first point of contact for the site operations team to offer support and advice, the role assumes overall responsibility to ensure the onsite labour team have the requisite skill, qualifications and experience to carry out their activities by regularly monitoring performance and quality of work.
* In doing so, successful candidates will be expected to consistently behave and interact in line with the values of the business, while leading their team, setting objectives and developing people in order to provide a service of quality to customers and clients, both internal and external.
* Ensuring compliance with all aspects of both Health & Safety Legislation and internal H&S Management System will be crucial. Successful candidates will also be confident in attending and chairing site progress meetings - both internally and with subcontractors -providing progress updates/minutes as required.
* The successful candidates will have a thorough working knowledge of Fit-out and Refurbishment contracts through significant job experience & training, experience of supporting a contract in its entirety.
* The individual is also likely to have between 2-5 years relevant experience
* This role will report to a Project Manager/Contracts Manager, depending on nature of live contract. The Site Manager will be predominantly site based during live contracts and attendance at a base office location may be required for in-house/client meetings.

Successful candidates will also:-

* hold a valid driving licence
* be fully IT literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (at intermediate level)
* Hold valid training certificates: CSCS, SMSTS, 4 day First Aid, UKATA Asbestos, Fire Awareness, Scaff
