About the Client:

Our client is dedicated to maximising the potential of each building or site, delivering projects to the highest standards aiming to positively impact the environment through innovative solutions, drawing on expertise in design and construction. The client provides Architectural Services across various sectors including education, commercial, retail, leisure, residential, and healthcare.

As a Chartered Architect - Departmental Lead, you'll oversee the design, management, and delivery of various building projects. Your role involves leading teams, and ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.



Responsibilities:

* Designing and specifying building projects, complying with regulations.
* Managing projects through planning, regulations, and consent processes.
* Leading multidisciplinary Design Teams and coordinating external Consultants.
* Facilitating communication within the team and with external parties.
* Providing technical guidance and support.
* Generating fees for the Architect Department.
* Supervising a team of Architectural Technicians.



Requirements:

* ARB registered Architect with relevant experience.
* Membership in professional bodies like ARB and RIBA.
* Demonstrated experience in Architectural design and delivery.
* Versatility across operational areas and client types.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar.
* Experience across all 6 RIBA work-stages.
