Job Title: Electrician
Location: Blackburn andamp; surrounding areas of Lancashire (travel further afield may be required)
Salary: £37,852.50 per annum + £5,000 OTE.

Are you a skilled Electrician based in Blackburn or the surrounding Lancashire area? Looking for a secure role with excellent pay, benefits, and career progression? We're recruiting for a leading housing association offering a temp-to-perm opportunity:

* First 12 weeks: Temporary contract paid at £23.00 per hour
* After 12 weeks: Permanent position with a salary of £37,852.50 per annum and full benefits

Please note: You may occasionally be required to work outside your usual area depending on contract demand. All travel time is counted as part of your working hours.



Key Responsibilities

* Repair and replace electrical fittings in domestic properties
* Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently
* Report and complete works using a PDA
* Adhere to Health and Safety policies, Equal Opportunities, Customer Service, and Performance frameworks
* Report accidents, near-misses, and hazards appropriately
* Deliver excellent customer service and adapt to a wide range of customer needs and schedules



Requirements

* AM2 Qualification
* NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical
* ECS Gold Card (desirable)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* 2391 Inspection andamp; Testing qualification
* Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
* Proven experience working in the social housing sector
* Confidence in all aspects of electrical work, including testing and certification
* Excellent time management and the ability to work independently
* Full set of own tools required



Contract Details

* Initial 12 weeks: Temporary contract via agency, paid at £23.00/hour
* After 12 weeks: Permanent contract with annual salary of £37,852.50
* Company van and fuel card provided
* All travel time considered as working hours
