An established and forward-thinking social housing maintenance provider, known for its commitment to community regeneration and high-quality tenant services, is seeking an experienced Gas Fitter. This organisation works across the Northwest, delivering essential maintenance and compliance services in occupied domestic properties.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform isolation, pre-emptying, and recommissioning of gas systems in residential homes.
* Install, service, and repair a range of domestic gas appliances to Gas Safe standards.
* Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and safety checks.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
* Accurately complete job sheets, risk assessments, and certification.
* Maintain excellent communication with tenants, supervisors, and planners.
* Prioritise safety in all work, particularly within occupied homes and vulnerable tenant environments.

Requirements

* Valid ACS/Gas Safe certifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, etc.)
* Proven experience in domestic or social housing environments
* Strong working knowledge of gas safety, including pre-commissioning practices
* Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
