Estimator - Roofing / Cladding

Our client, a leading specialist in the external envelope sector, is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in cladding, rainscreen systems, and flat roofing (including single ply solutions) to join their expanding commercial team.

With a strong pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable business that delivers complex façade and roofing projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for cladding, rainscreen, and roofing packages
*

Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents
*

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and material quotations
*

Collaborate with the pre-construction and contracts teams to hand over successful bids
*

Build and maintain strong client relationships through professionalism and technical expertise
*

Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required
*

Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety, and commercial targets

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in estimating cladding, rainscreen, and flat roofing (including single ply) systems
*

Strong understanding of façade and roofing build-ups, material performance, and construction methods
*

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
*

Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
*

Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and attention to detail
*

Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
*

Full UK driving licence
