Duration: 4 Weeks (Starting 11/08)
Rate: £275 per day

Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a short-term refurbishment project in a college Huddersfield. The works involve the removal of RAAC (Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) and refurbishment of classrooms. This is a critical and time-sensitive assignment, requiring a hands-on professional with a strong background in health and safety, subcontractor coordination, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure work is progressing in line with project timelines.

Oversee RAAC removal works in accordance with safety and environmental regulations.
*

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and on-site personnel.
*

Ensure all refurbishment works meet design specifications and quality standards.
*

Monitor site health andamp; safety compliance and maintain proper documentation.
*

Liaise with project stakeholders, including school representatives and contractors.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience in managing refurbishment projects, ideally in a school or educational setting.
*

Strong understanding of RAAC-related works and associated safety protocols.
*

SMSTS or SSSTS certification (mandatory).
*

First Aid certification (preferred).
*

Strong organisational and communication skills.
*

Ability to hit the ground running on a fast-paced project.
