Building Careers UK are currently recruiting for an experienced Steel Fixer on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor. This is a long-term opportunity on a major project in the Northwest.

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 2 in Steel Fixing (essential)
* Ability to read and work from site drawings
* Experience with prefabricated steel systems
* Valid CSCS card
* Own tools andamp; PPE
* Checkable references

Duties:

* Prefabrication of steel reinforcement
* Installation of prefab steel for columns, ground beams, and precast walls
* Working to technical drawings and site specifications
