Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading name in commercial property investment and development, is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support their expanding property portfolio. With a diverse range of assets across retail, office, and industrial sectors, they offer a dynamic environment for a commercially minded QS to thrive.

The Role:

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing costs and contracts across multiple refurbishment, fit-out, and development schemes within the client's growing property portfolio. Working closely with project and asset management teams, you will help ensure projects are delivered on budget and with maximum commercial value.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
*

Management of procurement processes and contractor negotiations
*

Monitoring project expenditure and cash flow forecasting
*

Contract administration, valuations, and final accounts
*

Risk analysis and value engineering
*

Liaising with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial real estate, development, or construction
*

Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and project cost control
*

Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (RICS chartership desirable but not essential)
