Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Plumber for a temporary position on a school project in St Helens, starting Monday. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and assembling pipework and fittings, with a focus on steel pipe installation and threading.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified and experienced plumber to contribute to a professional team on a live commercial site.



Key Responsibilities:

* Install, assemble, and secure steel pipework using hand tools and threading machines
* Fit and secure fixtures such as valves and supports in line with specifications
* Work in accordance with health and safety standards on a live school site
* Read and interpret technical drawings and plumbing schematics
* Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades on project progress
* Ensure work is completed to high standards and in line with relevant plumbing codes and regulations



Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent) - essential
* Proven experience working in commercial plumbing environments
* Must be proficient in steel pipework, threading, and screwed fittings
* Strong knowledge of UK plumbing standards and building regulations
* Must hold a valid CSCS card
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Must have own tools and PPE

* Location: School site, St Helens
* Hours: Standard site hours (Mon-Fri)
* Duration: Ongoing temporary contract
* Rate: £24 per hour (CIS/Umbrella)
