Assistant Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to assist with the internal finishing stages of a high-rise residential apartment scheme. This is an immediate requirement and will be for a minimum of 2-3 months.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will assist in managing the finishing and snagging phase on a block of apartments. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone looking to step up or gain further experience on a major scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the coordination of all finishing trades
* Check snagging lists
* Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with programme schedules
* Assist with daily site operations, inductions, and health andamp; safety enforcement
* Liaise with subcontractors and ensure site standards are upheld
* Report regularly to the senior site team

Requirements:

* Previous experience in an assistant site management role on residential or high-rise builds
* Strong knowledge of internal fit-out stages
* CSCS card required; SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
* Proactive, reliable, and confident on-site
* Immediately available for a site-based role in Cardiff
