Operations Director

A dynamic and forward-thinking Chartered Surveying practice is seeking an Operations Director to play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of its growth.

This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on driving operational excellence, embedding robust systems, and scaling businesses through smart, strategic delivery. You'll work closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership to lead, optimise and evolve the internal workings of the business - with a sharp focus on people, performance, compliance, and client service.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading day-to-day operations across the business, championing structure, efficiency and accountability.

Driving performance by improving processes, planning, resourcing and use of technology.
*

Working closely with Finance and HR to oversee commercial performance and people development.
*

Ensuring full compliance with regulatory, professional and internal standards.

Contributing to business strategy, growth planning and client engagement at the highest level.
*

Fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture while supporting innovation, systems upgrades and long-term goals.

What We're Looking For:

Proven background as an Operations or Programme Director in a high-performing, regulated environment.

Strong track record in driving cultural change and leading cross-functional teams.
*

Excellent commercial understanding, with experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial oversight.
*

Confidence working within complex compliance and regulatory frameworks.
*

Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset - equally comfortable with boardroom planning and operational delivery.
*

Experience leveraging tech, automation and AI to streamline operations.
*

Sharp decision-maker, strong communicator, and natural relationship builder.

The Opportunity:
