Operations Manager

Our Client:
Our client is a trusted specialist in civil engineering, delivering high-quality projects to the energy, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.

The Role:

The Operations Manager will lead their Civil Engineering division. This is a senior role with responsibility for ensuring the smooth delivery of complex projects, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, and driving operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee day-to-day operations for the Civil Engineering and Structural Steelwork Division.
* Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects to time, budget, and quality standards.
* Manage and mentor site teams, ensuring compliance with health andamp; safety regulations and company procedures.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to support ongoing collaboration.
* Identify new business opportunities within the sector and contribute to the company's business development strategy.
* Monitor project performance, prepare commercial reports, and deliver operational performance reporting to senior management.
* Ensure accurate resource planning, cost tracking, and budget control.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas.

About You:

* Proven track record in managing structural and civil engineering projects, ideally within high-security or regulated environments.
* Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
* Experience in business development and identifying commercial opportunities.
* Solid understanding of commercial reporting and operational performance monitoring.
* Skilled in project planning, scheduling, and financial control.
* Knowledge of relevant health andamp; safety regulations and industry standards.
* Excellent leadership skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach.
