Finishing Foreman

Job Title: Finishing Foreman (Windows andamp; Doors - External Works)
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to oversee external finishing works, specialising in the installation of windows, doors, and associated façade elements on residential and/or commercial projects in Liverpool. The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring all external finishing works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate finishing teams on site, focusing on windows, doors, and other external elements.
*

Carry out and oversee window fitting and door installation to ensure accuracy and high-quality finishes.
*

Ensure works are completed in line with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
*

Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
*

Conduct quality inspections and resolve any defects promptly.
*

Monitor health andamp; safety compliance, enforcing best practices at all times.
*

Liaise with site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflow.
*

Report progress, issues, and resource requirements to senior management.
*

Support in training and mentoring operatives where required.

Requirements

*

Proven hands-on experience fitting windows (essential).
*

Strong background in finishing works, particularly in doors and external cladding/façade systems.
*

Previous experience as a Foreman or Supervisor on construction projects.
*

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
*

Good understanding of health andamp; safety regulations and site compliance.
*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
*

CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS qualification desirable.
