Commercial Manager

With a reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and customer-focused delivery, our client is expanding and looking for a dynamic Commercial Manager to join their leadership team and help shape the future of their business.

The Role

The Commercial Manager will oversee the commercial operations of the business, ensuring contracts are delivered profitably while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. This is a strategic role with hands-on responsibilities, offering the opportunity to influence business direction and growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all commercial aspects of the business, from pre-contract through to final account.
* Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
* Prepare, review, and negotiate tenders, contracts, and client agreements.
* Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance.
* Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and risk management.
* Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
* Collaborate with project, operations, and finance teams to ensure successful delivery.

About You

We are seeking a commercially astute professional with a track record of success in a similar role.

You will bring:

* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or in a senior commercial role, ideally within construction, interiors, or exteriors.
* Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
* Excellent financial and analytical abilities.
* A proactive, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of construction contracts (JCT/NEC) would be advantageous.
