Your new role
Our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in Welshpool. You will play a key role in managing costs, contracts, and commercial activities across a variety of Dandamp;B projects, ensuring financial efficiency and contractual compliance from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing and controlling project expenditure, ensuring robust cost control, monitoring, and reporting.

Reconciling site costs and producing accurate monthly cost reports and profit forecasts.
*

Carrying out site measurements and preparing monthly payment applications/invoices.
*

Supporting the delivery team in day-to-day project activities.
*

Collaborating with client representatives to submit and agree variations.
*

Pricing variations and new works from first principles.
*

Conducting subcontractor analysis, preparing and managing subcontract agreements.
*

Assisting the estimating team with tender preparation and cost planning.

What you will need to succeed:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to Dandamp;B projects in affordable housing, education, commercial, and healthcare sectors.
*

Track record of managing new build and refurbishment schemes up to £8 million.
*

Strong client-facing skills, confident and professional in all interactions.
*

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
*

Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook essential).
*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.
