Electrician

Location: Skelmersdale and surrounding areas
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year + vanandamp; fuel card
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced and fully qualified Electrician based in or near Salford? Do you hold an ECS Gold Card, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and 2391 Testing andamp; Inspection? You could earn £40,000-£45,000 per year, working 40 hours per week with our client!

About the Role

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add to their team. They are seeking a competent Electrician with 5+ years' post-qualification experience who enjoys working in a variety of environments, undertaking small installation projects and reactive maintenance tasks across Commercial, Industrial andamp; Rail environments.

Your day-to-day work may include:

* Small installation projects and planned/reactive maintenance
* Fault finding and testing
* Working with metal containment systems (galv trunking, tray, conduit)
* Installing SWA andamp; singles cables, Schneider Merlin Three Phase Distribution Boards
* High-level lighting installation (including use of MEWPs)
* Completing testing and certification of your own work
* Maintaining safe working practices

* A good sense of humour to fit into the team, but also able to work independently
* Flexibility and willingness to deliver varied projects daily

Essential Qualifications:

* ECS Gold Card
* City andamp; Guilds NVQ Level 3 with full Apprenticeship (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* 2391 Inspection andamp; Testing
* IPAF / PASMA
* Full UK Driving Licence

Pay andamp; Benefits

* £40,000 - £45,000 per year (basic, with overtime expected earnings £45k+)
* 40-hour working week (Overtime: time and a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays/Bank Holidays)
* 22 days holiday + Bank Holidays (+ your birthday off = 23 days total)

* Opportunity to progress into Electrical Supervisor, Design Engineer, or ATEX Installer roles

Our client has been established for over 30 years, delivering high-quality electrical services across the Northwest. While most of the work is local, there may occasionally be a requirement to work away.
