Estimator

Our client, one of the UK's leading roofing and waterproofing specialists are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Estimator to join their team based.

About the Role

As an Estimator, you'll play a key role in the tendering and pricing process for a wide range of roofing and waterproofing projects - from commercial developments and refurbishments to major infrastructure works. Working closely with regional and national teams, you'll prepare accurate cost estimates, assess risks, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
*

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations.
*

Prepare and submit tenders within deadlines.
*

Identify value engineering opportunities and propose cost-effective solutions.
*

Support project handovers to ensure smooth transition from estimating to delivery.
*

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, labour rates, and market trends.

About You

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within the roofing, waterproofing, or wider construction industry.
*

Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
*

Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
*

Proficient in MS Office and estimating software.
*

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
