The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and commercially astute Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of projects from preconstruction handover through to final account.

This is a client-facing role that requires technical and organisational expertise, alongside polished communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be detail-driven, highly adaptable, and commercially minded-capable of managing multiple stakeholders and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Performance Management

*

Manage and report on project KPIs to the Contract Manager.
*

Provide accurate reports and documentation to track milestones and progress.
*

Ensure delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality benchmarks.

Client andamp; Stakeholder Management

*

Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, engineers, and third parties.
*

Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are managed and exceeded.
*

Represent the business with professionalism and integrity at all times.

Health andamp; Safety

*

Take ownership of Health andamp; Safety requirements and standards.
*

Prepare Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) and oversee site safety performance.
*

Support incident reporting and investigations, promoting a positive safety culture.

Project Coordination andamp; Design

*

Manage the design phase, including Design Team Meetings (DTMs) and approval processes.
*

Oversee progression to production sign-off and preparation of job packs.
*

Coordinate all key interfaces to ensure alignment across internal teams and external partners.

Financial Oversight

*

Collaborate with the commercial department on budgets, forecasts, and CVRs.
*

Analyse expenditure, implement cost-control strategies, and ensure commercial variations are managed effectively.
*

Support value engineering initiatives to maximise margin growth.

Meetings andamp; Communication

*

Lead pre-start, progress, and ad-hoc meetings.
*

Maintain proactive communication, staying "ahead of the curve" in identifying and resolving challenges.

Qualifications

*

A design, technical, or construction-based qualification (NVQ 6 or 7) is preferred but not essential.

Hours and Benefits

*

Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (early finish 3pm Fridays).
*

Office based, with 1-2 site visits per week.
*

25 days holiday.
*

Company bonus scheme.
