Estimator

Our client, a respected and growing company within the roofing and building envelope sector, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic team.

About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key part in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of roofing projects. You'll work closely with the commercial and operations teams, ensuring the delivery of well-structured tenders and contributing to the continued success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for roofing projects
*

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
*

Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
*

Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
*

Ensuring all estimates are delivered on time and in line with company standards
*

Supporting the commercial team with value engineering and project planning

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within the roofing industry
*

Strong understanding of flat and pitched roofing systems, materials, and installation methods
*

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
*

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
*

Strong communication and negotiation abilities
*

Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines
