The Opportunity

Our client is one of the fastest-growing housing associations in the Northwest, offering excellent long-term prospects within their responsive maintenance team. They are now looking for an experienced Painter andamp; Decorator to join their Liverpool team, working across both occupied and void social housing properties.

Key Duties

*

All aspects of internal and external painting andamp; decorating
*

Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, patch plastering, and making good
*

Applying undercoats, gloss, emulsion, varnish, and specialist coatings
*

Wallpapering, stripping old wallpaper, and ensuring smooth finishes
*

Minor multi-trade tasks (e.g., basic joinery, sealing, small repairs)
*

Working on both planned and reactive maintenance in domestic properties
*

Using PDA systems to receive, manage, and update daily work orders
*

Engaging positively with tenants, delivering excellent customer service
*

Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with health andamp; safety guidelines

Requirements

*

NVQ Level 2 in Painting andamp; Decorating or proven equivalent experience
*

Previous experience working in social housing or domestic occupied properties
*

Strong communication and customer-facing skills
*

Experience using PDA systems
*

Full UK driving licence
*

Must be clean shaven for Face Fit testing
*

No more than 6 points on licence; no alcohol/drug-related bans
