Electrician

The Role

Our client, a growing marine and industrial services company based in Liverpool, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their permanent engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of industrial and manufacturing sites, delivering high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding services.

Key Responsibilities

* Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems
* Fault finding and diagnostics on control panels, machinery, and plant equipment
* Electrical testing, inspection, and compliance to current regulations
* Working with motors, drives, conveyors, and industrial control systems
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Handamp;S standards
* Liaising with site supervisors, engineers, and clients as required
* Supporting planned and reactive maintenance activities

Essential Requirements

* Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* Proven experience in an industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence

Desirable (Not Essential)

* Experience with PLCs, automation, or control systems
* Electrical inspection and testing qualification
