Fire Stopper

Location: Aberdeen
Rate: £23 per hour
Start: Immediate Start
Position Type: Temporary (until mid-February)

We are currently looking for an experienced Fire Stopper to support ongoing fire-stopping works within the basement areas across four apartment blocks in Aberdeen. You will be joining an established team on site, helping to manage a high volume of work and ensure fire safety standards are met.

Key Requirements:
Must have proven experience in passive fire protection / fire stopping

Must hold a valid NVQ in Passive Fire Protection or FIRAS accreditation

Valid CSCS card

Asbestos Awareness certificate is desirable

Previous experience working on residential or large-scale construction projects

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good attention to detail and a strong understanding of fire safety compliance



Key Responsibilities:
Carry out fire-stopping works to service penetrations, walls and floors

Install and maintain passive fire protection systems

Work alongside the existing site team to meet programme deadlines

Ensure all works are completed to the required safety and quality standards

Follow all health andamp; safety regulations on site
