The Opportunity

A well-established commercial fit-out contractor based in Wigan is looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator with a strong background in CAT A andamp; B commercial fit-out projects to join a busy contractor with a healthy pipeline of work across the North West.

You will play a key role in pricing projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission, working closely with senior management, the commercial team, and supply chain partners.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for CAT A andamp; B fit-out projects
*

Produce detailed take-offs and cost breakdowns
*

Obtain, review, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
*

Build and maintain strong relationships with the supply chain
*

Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks
*

Support tender adjudications and post-tender clarifications
*

Assist with project handover to the commercial and delivery teams

What We're Looking For

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial fit-out (CAT A andamp; B essential)
*

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
*

Ability to price projects from first principles
*

Confident communicator with strong commercial and negotiation skills
*

Proficient in estimating and take-off software (or similar industry tools)
*

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*

Based within a commutable distance of Wigan
