Site Administrator

We're looking for a proactive and organised Site Administrator to join our client's project team in Salford. This is not your typical office role - you'll be based on-site working directly under the Project Manager and Site Manager, supporting a team of 20-30 operatives.

This is a highly autonomous role, ideal for someone responsible, self-led, and trustworthy, with the chance to shape and build the position from scratch. While hybrid working is possible, the role is primarily site-based (5 days per week).

Key Responsibilities

Document control and general administration.
*

Payroll support and weekly wage processing.
*

Managing timesheets and attendance.
*

Organising and maintaining OneDrive files.
*

Supporting material requisitions and liaising with suppliers (PM will provide requirements).
*

Assisting with meeting organisation and providing support to the PM and site team.
*

General administration and process improvement, helping the team work efficiently.

Team Structure

*

Directly reports to the Project Manager
*

Works alongside several site managers with no rigid management tiers.
*

Highly autonomous role requiring initiative, trust, and responsibility.
*

Busy, varied role with the opportunity to influence and improve processes.

Who We're Looking For

*

Strong admin and document control skills.
*

Confident, proactive, organised, and driven.
*

Comfortable working independently and learning on the job.
*

Construction experience is a bonus but not essential.
*

Ambitious and motivated to grow and develop in a site-based environment.
