Surfacing Supervisor

Our client is a well-established and reputable contractor specialising in surfacing and highways works. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Surfacing Supervisor to oversee site operations and ensure the successful delivery of projects to the highest standards.

The Role:

As Surfacing Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating teams, and ensuring all works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise surfacing crews on site, including machine and hand-lay gangs
* Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety requirements
* Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
* Liaise with site managers, clients, and subcontractors
* Maintain accurate site records and reports
* Ensure compliance with health andamp; safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Surfacing Supervisor or similar role
* Strong knowledge of asphalt surfacing and associated plant
* SMSTS or SSSTS (essential)
* CSCS card (essential)
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong leadership and communication skills
