Senior Quantity Surveyor - Steel Frame / SFS / Drylining

Manchester - £60,000 - £70,000 + package

An established and growing specialist construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of steel frame, SFS and drylining packages across the North West.

This is a key commercial role, suited to a Senior QS with a strong background working for specialist subcontractors on high-value trade packages.

The Role

*

Commercial management of steel frame, SFS and drylining packages up to £5m
*

Full responsibility from procurement through to final account
*

Preparation and submission of valuations and applications for payment
*

Management of variations, change control and cost reporting
*

Subcontractor procurement, account management and payments
*

Liaising closely with project teams and main contractors
*

Supporting the Commercial Manager with reporting and margin protection

The Ideal Candidate

*

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor (or strong Project QS ready to step up)
*

Background within steel frame, SFS, drylining or similar specialist packages
*

Experience working for a subcontractor or specialist contractor
*

Strong knowledge of variations, measurements and final accounts
*

Comfortable managing multiple live projects
*

Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
