Estimator / Operations Coordinator

Location: Widnes, Cheshire

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 + package

A small, dynamic team of full-time employees designs and manufactures luxury stainless steel hot tubs, spas, and pools, with turnover expected to reach £1.5m in the current financial year. Subcontractors are engaged as required, making efficiency, organisation, and proactive management critical.

The Estimator / Operations Coordinator will act as the MD's number 2, supporting both factory and office operations. This role combines estimating, operational coordination, and client liaison, offering variety and the opportunity to work closely across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and monitor workflow using the whiteboard system, ensuring accurate progress updates
*

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials
*

Assist with price builds and client quotations
*

Ensure factory teams have all items and materials required for smooth production
*

Provide weekly client updates with progress photos
*

Organise deliveries to sites of pools and spas
*

Liaise with Accounts to ensure invoices are issued promptly and payments run smoothly

Desirable Skills andamp; Experience:

*

Experience with 2D AutoCAD; 3D Solidworks experience beneficial (support available from part-time CAD staff)
*

Knowledge of structural steel and steel fabrication
*

Understanding of construction and site logistics
