This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing design andamp; build contractor specialising in high-quality CAT A andamp; B commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Your new role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to take a lead role in pricing CAT A andamp; B fit-out projects from early feasibility through to final tender submission. You will work closely with senior management, commercial teams, and delivery teams to produce accurate, competitive estimates and support the continued growth of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for CAT A andamp; B commercial fit-out projects
*

Managing the full tender process from initial enquiry through to submission
*

Reviewing drawings, specifications, and employer's requirements to assess scope and risk
*

Producing take-offs and building up rates using first principles where required
*

Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
*

Evaluating subcontractor returns and preparing tender analysis
*

Supporting value engineering exercises and alternative proposals
*

Attending pre-tender meetings and site visits as required
*

Working closely with commercial and delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover post-award
*

Contributing to the development of estimating processes and best practice

What you will need to succeed:

Proven experience as a Senior Estimator within commercial fit-out or refurbishment
*

Strong understanding of CAT A andamp; B fit-out projects
*

Experience working in a design andamp; build environment
*

Excellent numerical, analytical, and commercial skills
*

Ability to manage multiple tenders to tight deadlines
*

Strong communication and negotiation skills
*

Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
*

A proactive and detail-focused approach
