Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a well-established Mandamp;E contractor, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing design team, working on a diverse portfolio of building services projects.

This role offers the opportunity to take technical ownership of mechanical design solutions across commercial and industrial developments, from concept and detailed design through to delivery and installation support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead mechanical design for building services projects
* Produce and review detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications
* Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and structural teams
* Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
* Support projects through design, installation, and commissioning stages

About You:

* Proven experience in mechanical building services design
* Strong knowledge of UK design standards and regulations
* Experience working for an Mandamp;E contractor or consultancy
* Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
