Mechanical Contracts Manager

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of HVAC and mechanical building services projects across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial schemes.

This is a key leadership role within a growing and reputable building services contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work.

The Role:

As Mechanical Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee multiple HVAC and mechanical building services projects
* Manage project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
* Monitor programme performance and drive delivery to meet key milestones
* Control project budgets, variations, and commercial performance
* Lead client meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
* Ensure compliance with Handamp;S legislation and company procedures
* Support procurement and supply chain management
* Oversee commissioning and final handover processes

About You:

* Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or Senior Mechanical Project Manager
* Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, plant rooms, ductwork, pipework, and associated mechanical services
* Experience delivering commercial, industrial, healthcare, or education projects (sector dependent)
* Commercially astute with strong contractual awareness
* SMSTS / CSCS (Black or Gold) preferred
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
