The Role

As Mandamp;E Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading the commercial management of mechanical and electrical projects from pre-construction through to final account
*

Overseeing cost planning, budgeting and forecasting
*

Managing subcontractor procurement, negotiation and appointment
*

Preparing and submitting valuations, variations and final accounts
*

Monitoring project performance and ensuring profitability targets are achieved
*

Managing and mentoring junior commercial staff where applicable
*

Working closely with project managers and directors to drive commercial strategy
*

Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
*

Maintaining strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Mandamp;E Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager will have:

*

Proven experience in a Senior QS or Commercial Manager role within an Mandamp;E contractor
*

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services projects
*

Experience managing projects from £1m - £10m+
*

Excellent understanding of JCT and NEC contracts
*

Strong negotiation and financial management skills
*

A proactive, commercially astute mindset
*

The ability to lead and influence both internal and external stakeholders
*

Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
