Our client, a well-established leader in the roofing sector are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
* Support in monitoring project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial reporting.
* Track and manage variations, valuations, and claims, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
* Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any commercial issues.
* Contribute to risk management and value engineering initiatives to optimize project outcomes and costs.
* Assist in preparing monthly reports, cost analyses, and progress updates for management and clients.
* Maintain accurate records of project documentation, contracts, and correspondence.

Requirements:

* Degree in Quantity Surveying is essential.
* Proven experience working within the subcontractor is beneficial.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the confidence to liaise with clients and suppliers.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities across projects.
* Highly organised, proactive, and eager to develop professionally.
