Technical Process Manager
Location: Preston, UK (with potential for 2 days remote working per week for non-local candidates)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

The Job

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded business within the aluminium windows sector, is currently looking to appoint an experienced Technical Process Manager. This is a key role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in ensuring technical accuracy and supporting operational efficiency across projects.

About Our Client

Our client has built a strong reputation over many years by maintaining direct control over their installation operations through an in-house team. This ensures consistently high standards on-site. During peak periods, they also utilise a network of trusted subcontractors who operate under the close supervision of their internal team, maintaining quality and consistency at all times.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce accurate and detailed factory paperwork from architectural drawings and site surveys
* Work extensively with Logical software to support technical and production processes
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure manufacturing accuracy
* Manage and coordinate material ordering in line with project requirements
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth transition from design to production
* Provide hands-on support to operations when required
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail across all documentation and outputs

Requirements

* Previous experience in a similar technical or process-focused role within manufacturing (ideally aluminium windows, glazing, or a related industry)
* Strong working knowledge of Logical software is essential
* Ability to confidently read and interpret architectural drawings and surveys
* Proven experience producing accurate technical documentation
* Experience in materials ordering and coordination
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
* A flexible, proactive approach with willingness to support operational needs
