Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on major energy projects across Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded QS to play a key role in the delivery of sustainable infrastructure initiatives.

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the full commercial management of projects, including:

* Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
* Managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
* Conducting value engineering, risk assessments, and change management
* Providing strategic commercial advice to the project team and senior stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with company and client procedures

You will be working on high-profile green energy infrastructure projects, contributing directly to the region's sustainable energy goals, while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and senior client representatives.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
* Strong knowledge of commercial and contract management, including NEC or JCT contracts
* Excellent cost reporting, forecasting, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
* Willingness to spend 2-3 days per week on site
