Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team delivering electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded professional to be part of the transition to sustainable transport.

Key Details:

* Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
* Sector: Electric vehicle infrastructure (charging networks, grid connections, civil works)
* Location: UK - flexible with some on-site travel required

Role Overview:
In this role, you will manage the commercial aspects of EV projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include:

* Preparing and managing budgets, cost plans, and forecasts
* Managing contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
* Leading commercial reporting, risk assessments, and value engineering
* Managing variations, claims, and change orders
* Advising project teams and senior stakeholders on commercial strategy

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure, energy, or EV-related projects
* Strong knowledge of commercial management, contracts, and NEC/JCT procedures
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Comfortable working across multiple sites and project teams
* Enthusiasm for sustainable energy and EV infrastructure
