The Role
As Residential Buyer, you will play a key role in the procurement of materials and subcontract packages across multiple live and upcoming housing developments. Working closely with the Commercial and Technical teams, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

As Residential Buyer, you will be responsible for:

Procuring materials, plant, and subcontract packages in line with project programmes
*

Managing supplier relationships and negotiating competitive rates
*

Placing orders and ensuring timely delivery to site
*

Monitoring market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities
*

Working closely with site teams to resolve supply chain issues
*

Maintaining accurate procurement records and cost reports
*

Supporting the wider commercial team with budget control and forecasting

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Residential Buyer will have:

Proven experience in a buying/procurement role within the residential construction sector
*

Strong knowledge of building materials and supply chain processes
*

Excellent negotiation and communication skills
*

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
*

Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
*

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant procurement systems
*

A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail
