Senior Health & Safety Advisor

The Company:
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing fit-out contractor based in Manchester, delivering high-quality commercial, retail, and office interior projects across the UK. Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to excellence, they are now looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Senior Health andamp; Safety Advisor.

The Role:
As Senior Health andamp; Safety Advisor, you will play a key role in driving health, safety, and compliance standards across multiple fit-out projects. Working closely with project teams and senior management, you will ensure best practices are embedded throughout the business and that all works are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and promote a positive health andamp; safety culture across all projects
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
* Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams and management
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health andamp; safety legislation and company policies
* Investigate incidents, produce reports, and implement corrective actions
* Deliver training and toolbox talks where required
* Support the development and continuous improvement of Handamp;S procedures

Requirements:

* Proven experience in a senior Handamp;S role within construction or fit-out
* Strong knowledge of UK health andamp; safety legislation
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work across multiple sites and manage priorities effectively
* Full UK driving licence
