Site Engineer

My client are a well-established and highly respected main building contractor with a strong presence across the North West. Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their delivery team on a range of high-quality construction schemes.

The Role
This is a key position on-site, supporting the successful delivery of projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, and residential up to £60m. You'll work closely with the site management team to ensure all engineering aspects are delivered accurately, safely, and in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project drawings
* Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
* Ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards
* Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams
* Supporting site management with daily engineering duties
* Identifying and resolving technical issues
* Promoting and maintaining high health andamp; safety standards

About You

* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer within the construction sector
* Proficient with setting out equipment
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Full UK driving licence
