Location: Preston (Office/Site Based)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Company Vehicle / Car Allowance (Negotiable)
Split: Approx. 70% office / 30% site
Projects: Nationwide

About the Role

A growing specialist contractor delivering acoustic flooring, soundproofing and related construction solutions across commercial and residential projects nationwide is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team.

This role will involve managing multiple projects from handover through to completion, coordinating labour, subcontractors and clients while ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality expectations.

The position is split approximately 70/30 between office and site, therefore candidates should be based within commutable distance of Preston and comfortable travelling to projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage multiple projects from pre-start through to completion
* Liaise with clients, main contractors and consultants
* Coordinate site labour and subcontractors
* Produce and manage project programmes
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Commercial awareness including variations and cost control
* Conduct site visits and attend progress meetings
* Oversee health andamp; safety compliance
* Manage procurement of materials and logistics
* Provide regular project reporting to senior management

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction
* Background in flooring, drylining, interiors, fit-out or similar (preferred)
* Strong client-facing and communication skills
* Experience managing labour and subcontractors
* Commercial awareness and cost control experience
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Full UK driving licence
* Based within commutable distance of Preston

Acoustic flooring experience is not essential - candidates from general construction, fit-out, flooring, drylining or related sectors are encouraged to apply.
