The Role

Due to continued growth, an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to support the commercial delivery of multiple residential developments from pre-construction through to final account. Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, and senior management, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

* Managing the commercial aspects of Dandamp;B housing developments from inception to completion
* Preparing and managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
* Procuring subcontractors and negotiating contract terms
* Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings and value engineering
* Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards
* Producing accurate monthly CVRs and financial reporting
* Working collaboratively with site and project management teams to support successful project delivery
* Managing risk and resolving commercial issues effectively
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

* Proven experience as a Senior QS within the residential construction sector
* Strong knowledge of Dandamp;B housing projects
* Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced environment
* Strong analytical and financial management skills
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred
* Full UK driving licence
