Commercial Gas Engineer - Temp to Perm - £25/h CIS - ASAP Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing HVAC and building services contractor operating across commercial and care environments throughout the UK.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available, offering long-term, stable work for the right candidate.

Please note: this role involves regular UK-wide travel, so flexibility to work away from home when required is essential.

The Role:
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on a range of commercial heating systems and gas appliances within live commercial and care environments.

Duties will include:

* Servicing and maintenance of commercial gas appliances
* Commercial boiler servicing and breakdown response
* Fault finding and repairs on heating systems and plant
* Testing, purging, and commissioning of systems
* Completing compliance documentation and digital job reports
* Working independently within a lone working environment
* Participation in an Out of Hours on-call rota
* Working within live care home and commercial settings
* Travelling to sites across the UK as required

Requirements:

Essential:

* ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1)
* CIGA1
* ICPN1
* TPCP1A
* Valid Gas Safe Registration
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Experience working within commercial plant rooms

Desirable:

* LPG qualifications
* Experience working within care or healthcare environments
* Strong fault-finding skills
* Good communication and customer-facing approach
