Health & Safety Manager

Our client, a reputable and growing construction contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Health andamp; Safety Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and knowledgeable Handamp;S professional to play a key role in maintaining high safety standards across a range of construction projects.

The Role:

The Health andamp; Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of health, safety, and compliance across multiple sites. Working closely with operational teams and senior management, you will ensure the business remains compliant with current legislation while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement and maintain company health andamp; safety policies and procedures
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
* Ensure compliance with current UK health andamp; safety legislation
* Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for improvement
* Deliver toolbox talks and support ongoing staff training
* Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and external bodies
* Promote a strong health andamp; safety culture across all projects

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a Health andamp; Safety Manager role within the construction industry
* Strong knowledge of UK health andamp; safety legislation and regulations
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites/projects
* Full UK driving licence preferred
