Site Engineer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major high-rise apartment development in Manchester city centre. This flagship scheme offers the chance to be part of a high-profile project within a well-established and forward-thinking business.

The Role
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of the project, supporting the site team with setting out, quality assurance, and coordination of works on site.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out setting out duties in accordance with design drawings and specifications
* Supporting site management with daily operations and programme delivery
* Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site
* Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project requirements
* Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built drawings
* Promoting and ensuring compliance with health andamp; safety regulations
* Liaising with consultants, designers, and key stakeholders

About You

* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on high-rise or large-scale construction projects
* Strong setting-out skills using Total Station and/or GPS equipment
* Good understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Valid CSCS card
