Estimator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing construction company, for an experienced Estimator to join their expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded individual to work on a varied portfolio of construction, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance projects across multiple sectors.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing packages while supporting the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing detailed estimates and tender documents
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project requirements
* Sourcing and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams
* Assisting with budgets, cost planning, and commercial reporting
* Ensuring all tenders are submitted accurately and on time

Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Estimator within the construction industry
* Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
* Experience with refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, or new build projects
* Excellent commercial awareness and numerical skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong communication and organisational abilities
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and estimating software
