* Manage subcontractor accounts including valuations, variations, payments, and final accounts
* Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
* Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
* Ensure projects are delivered within budget while maximising profitability
* Work closely with operational and site teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
* Ensure contractual compliance and effective administration of subcontract agreements
* Maintain accurate commercial records and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
* Support senior management with wider business and commercial objectives

Requirements

* Previous experience within a Quantity Surveyor role within construction or specialist subcontracting
* Fire stopping or passive fire protection experience is essential
* Previous experience working for a subcontractor is preferred
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial processes
* Proven experience managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
* Ability to manage project costs, reporting, and forecasting independently
* Commercially aware with strong negotiation and communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative within a fast-paced environment
* Stable career history preferred
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management preferred
* Good IT skills including Excel and commercial reporting systems

Desirable:

* Knowledge of JCT contracts
* Experience delivering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, or education sectors
* Experience working on large-scale developments or major projects

Why Apply?

* Excellent opportunity to join a growing and highly respected specialist contractor
* Strong pipeline of secured fire protection projects
* Exposure to large-scale construction and development schemes
* Supportive and collaborative team environment
* Clear progression and long-term career development opportunities
* Competitive salary and benefits package
