Senior Quantity Surveyor - Facades / Building Envelope

Location - Warrington, Cheshire

Salary/Package - £65,000 - £75,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

About the Company

Our client is a highly respected specialist contractor operating within the façade, glazing, cladding, and building envelope sector. With a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects across the UK, the company works across a range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and residential developments.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team based in Warrington.

The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

* Managing the commercial delivery of façade, cladding, glazing, and roofing packages from pre-construction through to final account
* Preparing and managing valuations, variations, cost reports, and forecasts
* Administering subcontractor packages, including procurement and account management
* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maximising profitability
* Liaising closely with operational teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Managing contractual matters and ensuring compliance with company procedures
* Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required
* Assisting senior management with commercial strategy and reporting

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

* Previous Quantity Surveying experience within façades, curtain walling, cladding, roofing, glazing, or the wider building envelope sector
* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, ideally with NEC and/or JCT contracts
* The ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* A proactive and commercially focused approach
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be advantageous
